The G Method
We know that each individual thought process in different, that our perceptions of the same problem/issue/task differs from one person to another. We also know that we approach problems, and puzzles in different ways and we solve them in different ways.
The G Method represents my approach to design and the understanding of crochet i.e. stitch patterns, stitch connections, and stitch behaviour. It is also composed of my thoughts on crochet design and crochet-related issues which are solely mine.
The G Method stands for Gordana’s Crochet Design Methodology.
I use the G Method in order to design crochet pieces. I hope that my logic with my interpretations and understanding will assist you in developing your own designs.
The G method is based observation of the crochet practice, analysis of crochet patterns and trial and error. At the core of the G method is maths but presented in an easy and understandable way. After all when we crochet we make shapes and geometry assisted and is in the centre of the method.
