About - Highlights
My name is Gordana Adamceska-Halson. I am based in Cambridge in the United Kingdom.
I have a degree in teaching from the Ss Cyril and Methodius University, Faculty of Philosophy, Institute of Pedagogy.
Once I finished my studies, I realised that I am very interested in qualitative research and decided come to the Cambridge, UK to further my knowledge.
In 2004, I completed my studies at the Faculty of Education at Cambridge University – an MPhil in Philosophy of Research in Social Sciences.
That same year, 2004, is very special to me as I also got married to my loving Jamie.
In 2009, we welcomed Dylan into our family. A few months later, I became a British Citizen and in 2010 my beautiful niece Sophia was born.
In 2014 my sister Ana passed away at the age of 39. In 2015 I learned how to knit - (Jane helped) to cope with her death.
In 2015 I designed a Stampy cat plushy for my son Dylan which was featured on one of Stampylongnose's Minecraft videos (and we even got Dylan’s name into his “Love Garden”).
In 2016 we welcomed my second baby boy, Sebastian.
During my maternity leave, I learned how to crochet using YouTube videos.
In 2019 I resigned my position of 14 years at the University of Cambridge, to pursue a more artistic career and dedicate my time to the art of crochet i.e. blogging, designing crochet patterns and writing books on crochet design.
This was all followed by establishing Cosmic G Designs.
What a ride!
In 2020, I devised crochet design methodology based on mathematics and geometry principles.
