I have been rather busy in the last couple of weeks. I have some wonderful news!

I have arranged to teach crochet for adults. A beginners class, but I am extremely excited as it combines my passion for teaching and crochet 😊 More details to follow once is all confirmed and not dependant of the unpredictability of the Covid.

I have also submitted the Parallel Universe shawl for publication in one of the USA Magazine. I am waiting for confirmation on the month it will be published. It will also include a short bio of myself as the designer and it is a good exposure in the world of crochet.

The book is finished. I need to finish the shawls though and do a final edit. This sounds very easy, but it has proven to be more difficult – especially with my 4 year old constantly being attached to me.

I now expect for the book to be published early spring.

I have also decided to make crochet design videos. I have thought about design a lot, obviously, and we can notice that no one discusses the process of design but rather have videos on how to remake a design. I think that there should be more open in terms of crochet design and the process that goes along with it.

And last, I have created and designed few pieces in the Velvet stitch pattern dedicated to blanket or velvet yarn which is difficult to crochet with as it is very voluminous. I expect to publish it this week along with he designs I have made. The stitch, of course, works for any yarn and it looks very ornate and delicate.
