Snowflakes and Lollies Blankigan
The design is contemporary, and the colour palette is striking which refreshes the winter grey days. It can be worn in spring or autumn as an overcoat as it is light and quite lacy.
The pattern and instructions are both in UK and USA terminology.
You will receive:
The almond stitch pattern
The snowflake motif pattern
The spiral motif pattern
The pattern instructions/ diagrams/ photos for the making of the Snowflake and lollies Blankigan.
Yarn
OPTION 1
This project is great for de-stashing your yarn. I have used all colours I have had and gathered them by shade.
All spials are different colour and they are lined in 8 rows and each row has 8 colours of spirals.
OPTION 2
Use any DK yarn for the spirals and replace the base colour (off white) with any contrasting colour.
Since to make this project it could be very costly – especially if you would like to recreate the exact colour palette (you will need to buy 65 new colours I would suggest for you to search your stash and use any dk yarn you have. Then arrange them by shade and according to the rainbow.
OPTION 3
Use any colour you wish to make 64 spirals and add the base colour of your choice
