Counting stiches is one of the basic skills whether you are at beginner or master level in crocheting. We all count, the whole time whether it is a foundation chain, during the row or once we finish a row.

We have all been there where we have forgotten the last stitch and our scarf has been with very uneven edges. To avoid this always make and count the last stitch.

(2015) Here is my beautiful scarf but with rather erratic edges… I did learn my lesson to count my stitches. I still proudly wear it every Valentine’s day 😊
